Akhanda Yoga Meeting Italia 11th Edition
@Bologna 3rd, 4th and 5th September 2021

Breath of Life:
Rebalance, Revive and Restart with Breathwork

In the Adi Nath tradition, for the first yogi-Nath explorers in the tantric path of Yoga, 400 BC. approximately, the management of the currents of the life flow (PraNa) was fundamental in the realization of our spiritual nature through the body. Akhanda Yoga through its founder Yogrishi Vishvketu has a direct connection and lineage with the ancient Adi Nath tradition: here, the breath is a fundamental element of the whole Hatha Yoga discipline, codified in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika about 8/900 years later.

Akhanda Yoga is the contemporary expression of integral Hatha yoga that has influenced the great schools of Rishikesh such as Shivananda and later Satyananda and the Bihar School of Yoga.Breath of Life: Rebalance, Revive, and Reboot with Breathwork. One of the most powerful of all yoga techniques, it can release chronic stress and anxiety and help you heal at a deep level. Many of us have been more anxious and sedentary than usual, which can cause an imbalance in the body and feelings of fear, limitation, and sluggishness.

Join Himalayan yoga master Yogrishi Vishvketu (Vishva-ji) for a special program to revive and rebalance yourself using the power of breathwork. You will learn how imbalances in our breath can affect our emotional and mental health, immunity, and many other aspects of our existence, and how to use the power of breath to release physical and mental toxicity that can build up during periods of stress. This powerful tool of breathwork (also known as pranayama) can bring many benefits for wellbeing relevant to all stages and paths of life.

Breathwork benefits:

  • Balances and helps release suppressed emotions
  • Releases stress and help you to manage chronic pain
  • Calms the mind and improves concentration
  • Increases your immunity system function
  • Supports digestive health
  • Strengthens cardiovascular health and builds oxygen respiratory capacity
  • Improves energy levels and vitality
  • …and many more benefits!

You will also explore several other special tools of yoga, including Yoga Nidra and Vedic rituals, which have been used by yogic practitioners to release suppressed emotions and reprogramming so that you can reach your highest potential.
